Solar Customer Service Specialist

One of the world's largest lithium-ion battery manufacturers is seeking several Customer Service Specialist II's to join their team!

As a Customer Service Specialist II you will be responsible for supporting daily customer service activities for existing and future business in North America. You will have an understanding of handling manufacturer product warranties and RMAs in B2B and B2C environments. You will identify clients' needs, generate solutions and respond to customer requests in a timely manner. You will have adequate time management skills, good writing and communication skills within a fast-paced, team-oriented, international business environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and customer focused phone support for B2B and B2C. Assuming accountability for both incoming and outgoing calls.
  • Multi-tasking while taking calls. Actively update CRM, ECS, and Excel documents while taking inbound/making outbound calls.
  • Accurate and timely RMA follow-up to daily inbound inquiries.
  • Be an avid troubleshooter to solve customer issues within the first call.
  • Reviewing photos, detailed information, & confirming error code accuracy.
  • Approve RMA and coordinate with internal team, partners, and contractors to fully satisfy customers.
  • Escalate to the appropriate hierarchy to resolve an escalated call within 24-48 hours.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor when handling challenging and upset customer complaints.
  • Work together as a team, providing timely and excellent customer service.
  • Be a brand expert and knowledgeable about the product - Develop an understanding of the residential battery market, including key markets, competitors, and technologies. Become familiar with battery systems and the main elements of an integrated energy storage system.
  • Manage and support internal reporting requirements
  • Ensure customer service call KPIs are met
  • Support Ad-hoc report and tasks required

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working in customer service call center. Preferred in residential solar; or experience in battery products
  • Ability to troubleshoot and adhere to business-critical deadlines
  • Dedicated and ethical approach to company standards
  • Good communication skills; verbal, written, and presentation
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel; experience in CRM tools (Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, Hubspot) preferred

 

Location: Irvine, CA

Schedule: Must be able to work 8 hour shift between 6am and 6pm

Compensation: $20 to $25/hr depending on related experience
