Solar Field QA/QC

Talent Corps is hiring a QA/QC Specialist with experience in solar energy projects and mechanical site knowledge to ensure quality standards are met across our solar installation projects. The position is in Rockford, IL. The pay is between: $30 to $35 an hour based on experience, with $100 per diem for 7 days a week. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC, specifically within the solar energy or renewable energy sector.

Job duties are but not limited to:

• Quality Assurance & Control:
  • • Ensure all mechanical systems (e.g., racking systems, trackers, piping) are installed according to project specifications, design drawings, and industry standards.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  • • Maintain thorough documentation of inspection results, test reports, and corrective actions taken to address quality issues.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  • • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams regarding any mechanical or quality concerns, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement:
  • • Identify and resolve any discrepancies between the design and actual installation on-site.

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC, specifically within the solar energy or renewable energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and their role in solar installations (e.g., racking, trackers, inverters, etc.).
  • Proven experience working in field environments, inspecting mechanical installations, and performing quality assurance tasks.

Requirements

• Must have OSHA-10 in Construction
• Must have Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) & Cold weather clothing
• RESUME with Experience for consideration
• Must have reliable transportation
