Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Residential Solar Installer to join our team. As a Residential Solar Installer, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently installing solar power systems in residential properties. You will work with a team of professionals to ensure the successful deployment of renewable energy solutions, contributing to the growth of the clean energy industry.

Responsibilities:

- Perform on-site evaluations of residential properties to assess the solar installation requirements and determine the most suitable equipment and layout.

- Conduct precise measurements and surveys, ensuring accuracy in calculations and dimensions.

- Install solar modules, wiring, and racking systems, following established safety standards and building codes.

- Assemble and install inverters, batteries, electrical systems, and monitoring equipment for efficient and effective system functioning.

- Collaborate with the project team to complete installations within scheduled timeframes.

- Conduct quality checks on installed solar systems, identifying and resolving any issues or defects.

- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations at all times.

- Keep detailed records of project progress, materials used, and any customer interactions.

- Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer questions and concerns in a professional manner.

- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and relevant certifications to continuously enhance your knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

- Previous experience in solar panel installation or related field is strongly preferred.

- Strong aptitude for technical installations and interpreting technical drawings.

- Knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring and electrical codes.

- Familiarity with tools and equipment commonly used for solar panel installation.

- Ability to work comfortably on roofs, at heights, and in various weather conditions.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

- Commitment to safety protocols and regulations.

- Battery experience a plus.
