Job Title: Solar Installer

Location: 2000 Crawford Ave, suite 300, Mount Laurel, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time
Hourly: [$25-$30 an hour]

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation and maintenance of solar energy systems, ensuring that each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair solar panels and related equipment on residential properties.

• Conduct site assessments to determine the appropriate placement of solar panels.

• Ensure all installations are in compliance with local, state, and codes and regulations.

• Perform electrical wiring and connection tasks for solar systems.

• Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure timely and accurate project completion.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with solar energy systems.

• Maintain safety standards and adhere to all safety protocols during installations.

• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding project timelines and progress.

• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each project.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a solar installer or in a similar role.

• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety procedures.

• Familiarity with solar panel technology and installation techniques.

• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications:

• Experience with both residential solar systems.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
