Location: San Francisco Bay Area Job Summary: The Solar Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of solar energy projects in the US. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in project management, renewable energy systems, and construction processes to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive project plans for solar tracker installation in concentrated solar projects, outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impacts Proactively address challenges to ensure successful project completion Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are met and quality standards are exceeded Conduct regular performance reviews of solar tracking systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary upgrades Develop and maintain technical documentation, including manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures Provide technical support and training to customers and internal staff Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to ensure company's competitive edge Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field 8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on renewable energy projects Strong knowledge of solar tracker systems and construction processes Demonstrated success in the Project Management function of a construction firm Proven success managing subcontractors and developing and executing innovative project changes Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule, and within budget close. Entrepreneurial with a well-rounded business perspective. Excellent teamwork, communication, and people skills Has a solid time management system and demonstrates excellent organizational skills. Working Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, Wrike software with experience presenting to Senior Leadership. Demonstrated decisiveness in resolving project issues, making decisions, and identifying priorities Able to travel frequently according to project needs
