Solar PV Electrician\nOur client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar PV Electrician to join their team. You will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in domestic and small-scale commercial settings.\nSalary: £40,000-£50,000\nLocation: Cardiff\nJob Type: Perm\nHours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (some days may differ if you get caught up with a customer)\nThe Candidate:\n * Must be able to use initiative & problem solve when needed\n * Must work as a team and be flexible to help all members while company grows\n * Must have previous experience working with solar\n * \n * A valid driver's licence is required for travel between job sites.\n * Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge\nDuties:\n * Installation of domestic & commercial products - inverter, batteries, EV chargers, iBoosts\n * Perform Solar electrical installations and modifications for domestic projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.\n * Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems, diagnosing and resolving issues as they arise.\n * Ensure all work is compliant with legal and company standards.\n * Remote monitoring, fault finding & fixing for existing customers or new contracts\n * Surveys for new jobs & explaining to customers how it will work\n * Design & installation of cable routes & stringing of panels for commercial jobs if needed\n * Opportunity to learn & fit flat roof mounting & in-roof systems when required\n * Opportunity to work & earn away & run solar projects\nRequirements:\n * JIB Gold Card\n * 2391\n * 18th Edition\n * NVQ Level 3\n * (BPEC solar)\n * Battery storage exp\nApply today directly with your CV and a member of our team will be in touch
