Location: Cardiff
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 p.a + Van + Fuel Card
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (some flexibility required)

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled solar PV electrician to join a growing renewable energy team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar PV systems in both domestic and small-scale commercial settings. Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, EV chargers, and iBoosts
*
Perform electrical installations and modifications in compliance with industry standards
*
Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and fault diagnosis for new and existing systems
*
Carry out remote monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairs
*
Conduct site surveys and advise customers on system design and functionality
*
Design and install cable routes and panel stringing for commercial projects
*
Gain experience with flat roof and in-roof solar mounting systems
*
Lead and manage solar projects, including occasional travel outside Cardiff

Solid electrical and mechanical knowledge

Full UK driving licence (required for travel between job sites)

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation

BPEC Solar PV qualification ()

Battery storage experience (desirable)
