Job DescriptionJob Description

Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Conduct engineering changes using SolidWorks solid models via design configuration software.
• Configure systems using basic programming logic from engineering specifications.
• Develop design validation models and configurations for product projects.
• Enhance department templates, calculation sheets, and reference documents.
• Test and debug automation outputs, ensuring accuracy and functionality.
• Implement improvements to design automation applications and interfaces.

Design Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field OR 5+ years equivalent SolidWorks/design experience.
• Minimum 5 years of design and drafting experience.
• Proficiency in bills of material (BOM), manufacturing processes, and product structures.
• Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks.
• Experience with PLM/PDM software (e.g., WindChill, SolidWorks PDM, ENOVIA).
• Ability to read and use basic programming logic and syntax.
