Position: Specialist Biomedical Scientist (Band 6)

Location: Milton Keynes University Hospital

Contract Tenure: 2 months initially

Shifts: Core shifts, Monday to Friday

\n

Pay Mechanism: Direct Pay

\n

Pay Rates: £26 - £28

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct microtomy and provide high-quality diagnostic pathology services.
  • \n

  • Perform routine and specialized tests in Cellular Pathology.
  • \n

  • Ensure adherence to quality control and assurance protocols.
  • \n

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient diagnosis.
  • \n

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all laboratory activities.
  • \n

Essential Qualifications:

  • HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
  • \n

  • Proven experience in Cellular Pathology.
  • \n

  • Demonstrated proficiency in microtomy within a diagnostic setting.
  • \n

\n

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
