Specialist Technical HSE EngineerBachelor’s Degree in Chemical / Loss Prevention / Environmental or Equivalent Engineering, preferably with an advanced professional degree in HSE Management. And IOSH , NEBOSH , OSHA Certifications. or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including minimum (5) years in in GCC region. Must have at least three (3) years of experience in similar position for international major Oil &Gas or Petrochemical projects. This category include also offshore diver Senior Safety Representative position who shall have following minimum requirements: Engineering Degree or equivalent. In-depth knowledge and experience of various safety studies and workshops like HAZID, HAZOP, SIL Holding professional IMCA diving certificates His last Fifteen (15) years’ experience in Oil & Gas including minimum (5) years in in GCC region.:- Five (5) Years’ experience as Diving Safety Rep. Engineer.- Five (5) years in diving pipelines / structures inspection and / or maintenance onboard vessels / barges- Five (5) years diving experience in construction and / or civil work. Well-versed in carrying-out diving inspection / maintenance projects and or contracts. Should possess:- Team-Work skills.- Capability to strategize.- Analytical / Decision Making Skills.- Knowledge of HSE ( NEBOSH / IOSH) Management.- Capability in preparing diving operations “Scope of Work” of Inspection/ maintenance of Projects .- Project Management skills. Fluent in English (read/write).Well-versed in IT & its application in relation to work requirement. Job DescriptionThe HSE Specialist will be responsible for developing safety policies and procedures, conducting safety training, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding workplace safety. The successful candidate must have in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and a strong commitment to promoting a safe and healthy work environment. The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively are also essential. Contribute to the design of engineering solutions and produce detailed designs and specifications. - Prepare and review deliverables to meet specific project requirements including: - Project HSE Plans Ability to identify and utilise relevant engineering standards and codes related to Technical HSE Engineering.manage time, cost and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment.Conduct Technical HSE Engineering activities and in-house site surveys for projects, from initial concept definition phase through to; Engineering studies, FEED, Detailed Design and Commissioning.Support Engineering Department to review, update and apply company's standards, amendments to external standards.Co-ordinate engineering design, develop and review multi-disciplinary work scopes for projects and other engineering activities . Ensure that the work scope is comprehensive and clearDevelop, update and monitor schedules for in-house engineering activities, contribute to external FEED / EPIC scheduling activities and effective project delivery.Review and approve method statements developed by contracted organisations for scope compliance. Liaise with contracted organisation to resolve technical issuesPreparation of loss prevention design documents including, Firewater Systems, F&G detection layouts etc
