Location: Huntersville, NC 28078





Salary: $125,000 - $155,000 (depending on experience)





Position Overview:





We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer specializing in High Voltage Cable Design to join our team in Huntersville, NC. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of high voltage design, including the ability to develop comprehensive cable design solutions with detailed grounding and bonding schemes. This role requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients, including delivering formal technical presentations.





Key Responsibilities:





Design high voltage cables, ensuring all specifications and requirements are met.





Develop detailed grounding and bonding schemes for high voltage cable systems.





Provide innovative and effective solutions to complex design challenges.





Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored design solutions.





Prepare and deliver formal technical presentations to customers, explaining design concepts and addressing any concerns or questions.





Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and testing, to ensure seamless implementation of designs.





Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in high voltage cable design.





Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.





Participate in client meetings, offering expert advice and ensuring customer satisfaction with design solutions.





Document all design processes and decisions, ensuring traceability and compliance with company standards.





Must-Haves:





High Voltage Design Experience: Extensive experience in high voltage cable design, with a proven track record of successful projects.





Cable Design Solutions: Ability to complete comprehensive cable design solutions, including grounding details and bonding schemes.





Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.





Technical Presentations: Ability to prepare and deliver formal technical presentations to customers, explaining complex design concepts clearly.





Related Experience: Proven experience in related fields, with the ability to demonstrate relevant project work and outcomes.
