Job Description





Reviews P&ID's, reads and revises interlock schematics/motor schematics, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, demo packages, and I/O loading. Creates junction boxes, marshaling panels, and DCS/PLC cabinets with a bill of materials (BOM).





Creates instrument installation details and generates material take-offs to support estimates. Creates conduit and cable tray drawings, including support details and sizing calculations based on applicable codes and client standards.





Applies design skills in electrical low voltage applications to support instrumentation design, such as providing 120 VAC power to instruments, designing lighting/instrument power panels, establishing 120 VAC UPS circuits, and ensuring compliance with grounding/bonding requirements as per NEC standards.





Conducts field surveys and plans/coordinates hot/cold cutovers. Demonstrates self-motivation, excellent client interface skills, and takes responsibility for all aspects of the work product deliverables.





Experience with fiber is desired.
