Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Coordination & Implementation Support
- Be the central point of contact between the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) and the vendor during platform onboarding.
- Collaborate with the vendor for a structured and phased rollout across all participating counties.
- Assist in requirements gathering, troubleshooting, and process refinement for county onboarding.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Ensure clear communication and alignment of expectations with stakeholders.
- Identify and document key contacts, technical resources, and system capabilities.
- Conduct regular meetings, workshops, and status updates to track progress.
- Technical Integration & Platform Interfacing
- Support stakeholders in platform integration, including file uploads, settings configuration, or API usage.
- Understand existing systems and liaise with technical teams to align data formats, transmission methods, and security protocols with project requirements.
- Project Coordination & Execution
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, ensuring tasks, timelines, and milestones are met.
- Track and mitigate risks, escalating issues as needed to maintain project continuity.
- Coordinate testing, training, and knowledge transfer activities for users.
- Process Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of onboarding processes, technical workflows, and county-specific configurations.
- Provide regular reports and updates to agency leadership on project status, risks, and key decisions.
- Capture lessons learned throughout the project.
- Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the vendor to resolve onboarding challenges and technical issues.
- Facilitate troubleshooting sessions and document resolutions for recurring issues.
- Ensure compliance with OAG IT security and data governance policies.
- Change Management & Communication
- Develop clear communication plans to keep stakeholders informed of project changes and expectations.
- Support stakeholders in adapting to new processes, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations.
- Provide training and reference materials to support successful adoption.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- 8+ years managing large-scale IT projects, preferably in government or public-sector environments.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and integration efforts.
- Experience developing and executing project plans, managing timelines, and mitigating risks.
- Strong ability to engage and communicate with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies and external vendors.
- Experience coordinating with government entities and managing distributed teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear guidance, reports, and documentation.
- 5+ years conducting meetings, training sessions, and status updates with stakeholders at various levels.
- Familiarity with data exchange methods, including file uploads, APIs, and system integrations.
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
