Sr Maintenance engineer [F/M/X]
Job description About the job:We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to keep the high-tech semiconductor process equipment in the MEMS Foundry in optimal condition. You will work with a wide range of high-tech equipment within one of our specialized technology clusters. Your Responsibilities: Managing the assigned cluster systems and equipment, including uptime, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR). Analyzing performance and initiating, designing, and implementing improvements and upgrades.Developing and implementing methods for systematic monitoring of equipment to plan and execute preventive maintenance in a timely manner.Utilizing appropriate methods and tools for engineering and repair activities.Initiating and planning Preventive Maintenance (PM), developing maintenance plans, communicating with 'owners,' planning evaluations of PM, and tracking changes in the PM plans.Responsible for the formal release of equipment following (preventive) maintenance.Managing maintenance-related documentation (e.g., Preventive Maintenance procedures).Improving methods and tools, including benchmarking with relevant external stakeholders and selecting suppliers.Maintaining close contact with equipment owners and operational technicians before, during, and after maintenance for optimal planning and execution.Performing planned and unplanned maintenance, including root cause analysis (RCA), maintenance planning, evaluation, documentation, and continuous improvements. Communicating issues across different levels.Acting as the project owner for small modifications in existing tools.Drafting technical specifications (including ESH issues) for new systems and equipment or modifications (as a member of the MDT team). Designing and executing the technical acceptance test (IQ, OQ). Determining the spare parts policy based on a risk analysis and ensuring that used parts and consumables are reordered.Determining ESH solutions for equipment issues following a risk analysis and complying with the ESH policy, rules, and regulations. Enforcing compliance.Designing disposal protocols (including ESH issues) for redundant systems and equipment.Developing and maintaining a high level of knowledge about a wide range of systems, equipment, and processes.Coaching Maintenance Engineers & Technicians as a member of the maintenance and cluster teams.Working safely for the team, the equipment, and the environment.Joining crash teams for complex machine/process failures and participating in Kaizen improvement teams. Your Profile: HBO/WO certified in a technical discipline relevant to the industry (electronics, mechatronics, physics, materials science, mechanics, chemical engineering).Preferably several years of experience as a maintenance engineer in a production environment and/or as a service engineer performing diverse and complex root cause analyses and problem-solving.Experience with MEMS and/or semiconductor manufacturing is a strong advantage.No 9-to-5 mentality and willingness to work evenings or weekends in case of emergencies.Eager to learn the technical details of all equipment.Skilled in reading electrical and mechanical drawings.(Basic) knowledge of (computer) control systems, PLCs, networks.Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment.
