Sr. Mechanical Project Engineer

My Client, who is located in DuPage County, is looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer.

Must have experience in the United States.

Responsibilities:

Communicate with/present to clients regarding projects

Head up multiple MEP projects

Mentor/train mechanical engineers/designers

Independently design projects from schematic design through project completion

Produce detailed design documents and specifications

Requirements:

BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering required

12 + years of HVAC engineering experience

Good working knowledge of IMC, IECC and ability to perform Energy Modeling using TRACE, eQUEST or other programs is required

Strong understanding of ASHRAE Standards, especially 55, 90.1 & 62.1

Experience in projects with sustainable solutions including LEED certifications or net zero energy are a plus

PE. license

Strong communicator with the ability to interact with a variety of clients
