Responsibilities

Project Estimating (Take-Off & Analysis)Project Scheduling (Manpower scheduling)Manage RFIs (Requests for Information)Prepare Submittal PackagesManage Flow of Contractor provided submittal dataAssist in data population of formsPrepare Project Progress BillingsAssist in Technical Analysis, Trouble shooting, and problem solving of HVAC Air Equipment, HVAC Piping Equipment Systems, HVAC & Plumbing Equipment

Skills and Experience:

Basic working knowledge HVAC & Plumbing Design & System OperationBasic working knowledge of Commercial & Industrial construction sequencesBasic working knowledge of construction estimatingBasic working knowledge of testing procedures for HVAC systems.Basic working knowledge of ASHRAE data & guidelinesAverage proficiency with MS Project scheduling programAverage proficiency with MS Access or other database programsAbove average proficiency with MS Excel & WordAbove average proficiency with InternetAbove average verbal & writing skillsAbove average organizational skills in handling & archiving technical data
Recommended that the candidate have bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Other Engineering Disciplines (Civil, Industrial, or Structural), and/or 5 years industry experience as a Construction Project Engineer.
Candidate should be able to demonstrate experience with project administration, project scheduling, productivity analysis, project cost control accounting, plus equipment & material procurement.
