Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of personnel management, including but not limited to hiring, firing, discipline, evaluating, interviewing, scheduling and directing the work, or making recommendations related to the same of Parking & Leasing Department operational supervisory staff.
- Develop and manage processes to ensure the safety and cleanliness of community centers and parking garages through management of staff and creating of appropriate protocols.
- Analyze operations data, such as time, production, and cost records, and prepare management reports of production results recommending various approaches to address same.
- Manage department special projects and daily operations to meet department goals.
- Administer and evaluate scheduling & production requirements to determine needed staffing levels.
- Partner with Safety, Risk and other relevant departments to provide employee training in equipment operations and/or work and safety procedures.
- Manage after hours emergencies, including but not limited to floods, snow removal operations, etc.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements:
- 3+ years supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general construction.
- Experience with disciplinary processes in union environment.
- Experience in strategic planning.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Work Experience and Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
Testing:
- Drug screening, as permitted by and consistent with applicable law.
Physical Requirements:
Persons performing service in this position classification may routinely exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. This type of work will involve regular walking or standing for extended periods of time. It may involve stooping or bending. Handling and working with various materials and objects are important aspects of this job.
