Sr. Planning Engineer

Sr. Planning EngineerRoles & Responsibilities:Lead the development of strategic project plans for manufacturing and operational activities, aligning with the long-term goals of the company.Maintain SAP master planning data, Routings and BOM’sCalculate order lead times, optimize resource allocation strategies and report on production capacity.Conduct regular project reviews and proactively address project risks.Implement advanced scheduling techniques using SAP to enhance efficiency and improve planning.Ensure that technical specifications, quality plans and customer requirements are effectively incorporated into the planning process.Calculate accurate cost estimates for projects, monitor actual costs and initiate cost improvement projects.Ensure the meticulous maintenance of project documentation, including plans, schedules, resource allocations, and reports.Work with Sales team to incorporate forecasts into material planning function.Provide mentorship and training to junior planning engineers, conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, and contribute to the continuous learning culture.Ensure HSE compliance and collaborate with HSE team to address and mitigate project-related safety concerns.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Project Management, or a related field.8-12 years of experience in planning roles, with 5 years in the Oil & Gas equipment manufacturing and servicing industry(API 6A).Good understanding of project accounting and cost control processesPlanning and strategic thinking skillsExcellent leadership and mentorship abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsIn-depth knowledge of engineering principles, industry standards and manufacturing processesCommitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvementExtensive SAP experience – Super User levelWork location: Qatar & Saudi Interested candidates are requested to send us the cv on [اضغط هنا لمشاهدة البريد اﻹلكتروني]
