Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline from a recognized university; an advanced degree is advantageous.




• Membership in a recognized professional engineering or project management association/institution is an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in engineering, project management, and execution of infrastructure and civil projects.




• Experience in project execution within the oil & gas environment is .




• Comprehensive understanding of project life cycle management.




• Proven experience in engineering coordination across multiple disciplines during Feasibility Studies, Concept Optimization, FEED, and EPIC phases.




• Strong skills in communication, team building, presentation, report writing, and management of meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate project teams to provide complete project management services for onshore projects, ensuring successful delivery from inception to completion and handover.




• Prepare and implement Project Execution Plans and QHSE Plans for all assigned projects.




• Oversee and monitor planning, cost control, budgeting, contract administration, progress reporting, change management, and gate approval processes.




• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to achieve cost-effective designs and resolve technical issues efficiently.




• Participate in preparing tender packages, tendering processes, evaluating submissions, and providing recommendations to tender committees.




• Develop and maintain risk registers, ensuring risks are identified, managed, and mitigated effectively.




• Collaborate closely with end users, stakeholders, government bodies, statutory authorities, and third-party entities such as joint ventures (JVs).




• Contribute to the resolution of variations and contractor claims.




• Assist in reviewing and developing procedures and guidelines as required.




• Mentor and train Qatari developees to help them achieve their full professional potential.
