Responsibilities

• Lead the Baxter General Contracting Department
• Walk jobsites weekly
• Work closely with Project Managers and Site Superintendents to get projects completed
• Assist Project Managers with schedules, change orders, and be a knowledge base for the Team
• Interaction and communication with Clients
• Coordinate labor and resources for the General Contracting Department
• Run the weekly and monthly Project Manager & training meetings
• Ensure projects get closed on-time and on-budget in accordance with the Baxter Builders Mission, Vision & Values
• Other duties as assigned, including managing projects as needed

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Construction Project Management experience
• Must be highly organized, with an attention to detail
• Ability to identify potential challenges and work collaboratively to solve them
• Good and reasoned communication - using diplomacy and level-headed thinking
• Serve as a resource and source of knowledge for the GC Department
• Ability & willingness to work collaboratively with all departments
