Responsibilities
- Lead the Baxter General Contracting Department
- Walk jobsites weekly
- Work closely with Project Managers and Site Superintendents to get projects completed
- Assist Project Managers with schedules, change orders, and be a knowledge base for the Team
- Interaction and communication with Clients
- Coordinate labor and resources for the General Contracting Department
- Run the weekly and monthly Project Manager & training meetings
- Ensure projects get closed on-time and on-budget in accordance with the Baxter Builders Mission, Vision & Values
- Other duties as assigned, including managing projects as needed
Qualifications
- 10+ years of Construction Project Management experience
- Must be highly organized, with an attention to detail
- Ability to identify potential challenges and work collaboratively to solve them
- Good and reasoned communication - using diplomacy and level-headed thinking
- Serve as a resource and source of knowledge for the GC Department
- Ability & willingness to work collaboratively with all departments
