Sr. QA Automation Engineer (Remote - Eastern/Central US)

Job DescriptionJoin the fight against cancer. Position SummaryThe QA Automation Engineer is a software engineering role. The Sr. QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for manual and automated testing for assigned products and their associated releases, including scripting and maintaining manual and automated scripts using multiple QA tools.The majority of your day will be spent working on the following core duties:Develop software solutions as a member of an agile development squadCollaborate with Product Owner to create and refine user stories and acceptance criteriaWork with the development and product teams to develop strategies for testing and automation.Design, deliver and maintain automated exploratory tests to validate software functionalityCoordinating with team members Onshore/Offshore for various tasks.Support and maintenance of the test automation process and framework.Develop effective test data management strategies for automated test suites.Estimate, plan and build quality testing activitiesValidate deployments to various environmentsProficient in advanced techniques with relevant software: MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. in addition to experience working within shared work environment.Effective time management skills to meet deadlinesTypical Minimum Requirements4+ years of relevant software quality assurance (SQA) experience preferably in the healthcare industry4+ years’ experience developing automated tests or any programming languageAll candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. No sponsorship or relocation is available for this position.Critical Skills5+ years’ experience in an Agile SDLC with focus on CI/CD5+ years’ experience in automation testing using Selenium, JavaScript testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Jest, etc.)5+ years’ experience in API testing and automating (Rest Assured, Postman)5+ years’ experience in backend testing using different database management toolsAdditional SkillsExperience working with the CI/CD tools and processes and experience in working with different build tools like Maven, Gradle, Ant etcExperience in working with different test management tools and processes.Experience with BitBucket, GitHub, Git bash etc.Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skillsYour Work Environment, Benefits & PerksThis is a REMOTE work location ideally based in Eastern or Central United States.
