Sr Safety Officer

We are seeking a highly qualified Sr. SafetyOfficer to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As akey member of our organization you will be responsible fordeveloping implementing and overseeing comprehensive safetyprograms to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for allemployees and contractors.

• Developimplement and maintain safety policies procedures and programs incompliance with local and international safetystandards
• Conduct regular safety audits andinspections to identify potential hazards and recommend correctiveactions
• Lead incident investigations analyzeroot causes and develop preventive measures to mitigate futurerisks
• Provide safety training and education toemployees at all levels of theorganization
• Perform risk assessments anddevelop strategies to minimize workplacehazards
• Manage emergency response planning andcoordinate drills to ensurepreparedness
• Analyze safety data and preparedetailed reports for management and regulatoryagencies
• Stay uptodate with changes in safetyregulations and best practices ensuring organizationalcompliance
• Collaborate with department heads tointegrate safety protocols into dailyoperations
• Serve as the primary point ofcontact for safetyrelated matters with regulatory bodies andexternalstakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelorsdegree in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering or a relatedfield
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) orequivalent certification
• Minimum of 57 years ofexperience in safety management preferably in industrial orconstruction settings
• Indepth knowledge ofoccupational health and safety regulations including OSHAstandards
• Proficiency in risk assessment safetyaudits and incident investigationtechniques
• Strong understanding of UAE laborlaws and safety regulations
• Excellentanalytical and problemsolving skills with attention todetail
• Proven ability to develop and delivereffective safety training programs
• Strongleadership and communication skills with the ability to influenceat all levels of the organization
• Proficiencyin data analysis and report writing
• Experiencewith emergency response planning andimplementation
• Ability to work in a fastpacedenvironment and manage multiplepriorities
• Fluency in English; knowledge ofArabic is aplus
