Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite)
Contract Duration: 6 months (extensions in 12-month durations)
Experience Needed: 5+ years
Job Description:
The Salesforce Engineer will support the Drivelink Team within the Client. This role is critical for maintaining the Salesforce integration that provides Client agents with vehicle information and safety services. The engineer will work independently while collaborating closely with the Product Owner and Manager to ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and other systems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain Salesforce applications, ensuring system stability and data integrity
· Implement integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs and third-party tools
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
· Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce-related issues
· Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
· Stay updated with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices
Must Haves:
· Demonstrated experience with Salesforce administration and development; security, standard objects, reports/dashboards, Chatter, Knowledge, Communities, Chat, data management and sandbox environments
· Demonstrated experience with advanced Salesforce.com development tools and techniques, e.g. Apex , Force.com custom development, triggers, controllers, JavaScript, Force.com SOAP and REST APIs, JSON, sObjects, SOQL, SOSL, Chatter API, UI API, outbound messaging, Lightning Components and Visualforce pages
· Demonstrated experience using Salesforce's standard development tooling
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
· Implement integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs and third-party tools.
· Maintain and optimize existing Salesforce applications for peak performance.
· Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce-related issues, ensuring system stability and data integrity.
· Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices.
· Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, continuously improving the platform.
