Sr. Staff Automotive System Solution Engineer (High Performance MCU)
Job Description We are seeking an experienced Sr. Staff Automotive System Solutions Engineer to join Renesas High Performance Computing Solutions Group. The ideal candidate will play an important role to define and develop the system solutions for particular automotive applications, such as automotive xEV and Zone. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive automotive system solution such as xEV (Inverter, BMS and OBC/DCDC) and Zone Design and validate system architectures that meet automotive industry standards and common customer requirements Collaborate with MCU marketing and engineering teams to define the requirements of hardware and software, specifications, and standards for the automotive xEV & Zone applications Provide deep technical expertise and guidance to internal and external stakeholders on automotive MCUs and application system expertise on xEV (Inverter, BMS and OBC/DCDC) and Zone Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in automotive MCU and incorporate them into the xEV and Zone application system designs Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to MCU and the system such as xEV & Zone applications Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform MCU product improvements and new developments Work closely with key customers to understand their future system requirements and provide technical guidance on MCU and implementation of MCU solutions Conduct technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions for customers and internal teams Drive continuous improvement and innovation in system design and functionality Qualifications Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field 10+ years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on MCU products and system solutions Strong knowledge of automotive MCUs and their applications in various automotive subsystems, especially in xEV and Zone Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels Willingness to trave as needed Good written and spoken English skills Additional Information ルネサスは「人々の暮らしを楽（ラク）にする」技術で持続可能な将来を築いていく日本を代表する半導体企業です。自動運転やIoTなど多様な分野において、先進的な製品やソリューションを提供しています。当社の製品は、世界中の主要な電子機器メーカーに採用され、日々の暮らしに欠かせない身の回りのあらゆる電子機器に使用されています。 当社では世界25カ国の製造・開発・販売拠点において20,000人以上の従業員が働いています。グローバルチームとして、すべての従業員が、行動指針である「Renesas Culture」をもとに、互いに学習、協力、成長、目標に向けて前進しながら、日々さまざまな課題解決に取り組んでいます。 当社を取り巻く環境は近年の活発な大型M&Aを含めて、他に類を見ないほどダイナミックに動いています。今後もインフラやデータエコノミー関連の急成長市場でのシェア拡大や、産業/IoTや自動車分野でのプレゼンス強化を図ります。変化の激しい中、グローバルチームの一員として、私たちと一緒に持続可能な将来を築いていただける方をお待ちしています。
