Enphase’s energy management system consists ofour own Solar Inverters, Lithium Ion based energy storage,Homeownerapplication/monitoring web and Mobile tools, Mobile commissioning tool.What you will be doingEnergyManagementsystem designanddevelopment,designverification, debugging and troubleshooting the design issues,project execution, releasing the design through Alpha, Beta and then tothe Market.Energymanagement system architecture, modellingand simulating the different subsystemsofEnphase’s energy managementsystem.Derivesystemdesignrequirements from Marketing requirement documents.Performgrid codecompliance studies(Steady state,transients, power quality) forgrid tied andgridagnostic systems.PerformFailureAnalysis, troubleshoot and identifytheroot cause ofcomplex system level issues with no supervision.Guide commissioning tool development.Reproduce Field failuresin the labforidentifyingthe root cause, work with cross functional teamto identifyrightsolutionsto the issue.Identify continuous improvementsin the design toimprove customer experience and reliability of the systemCollaboratively workwithallstakeholderstodesign and develop HW, FW and SW for the Energy storage system.Review HW, FW, Mechanical, SW design of Energy storage system products.Mentor and traintheJuniorEngineersin the team.Who you are and what you bringME/MTechor PhD in electrical engineeringwith10+ years of experiencein Power Electronics or power system design.Hands-on experience with electrical and electronics systems.Good understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts, including circuit theory and power systemsExcellent communicationskills.Analytical, decision making and leadership skills.Ability to work effectivelyand collaboratively with cross functional teams.Desire and passion to change the world.Familiar withenergy storage, microgrid and renewable energy systemsExperience in Modelling and simulation of PowerElectronicsor power system components.Experience inMATLABSimulink modelling,integration, and debug skills.Experience in Frequency Domain analysis, such as bode,NyquistPlots and Time domain analysis.Good in understanding andanalysingthecomplex controls algorithms, also Root cause analysis for unstable systems.Experience in Inverter, Power Electronic circuitsdesign.Hands on experience with wired and wireless communication protocolsExperience in Inverter, UPS, Power Electronic circuits design and troubleshooting.Hands-on Experience in handling the labelectronicequipment.Knowledge in Lithium Ion based Energy storage systems, Battery management system.Experience in grid tied inverter validation and advance grid profile functions.
