Join Our Growing Team: Staff Auditor - Entry-Level Opportunity (Spring/Summer 2025)
We are a mid-sized CPA firm in Northern Virginia experiencing exciting growth and are looking for talented, entry-level Staff Auditors to join our team starting in Spring/Summer 2025.
Our audit team works with a diverse range of clients across industries such as government contracting, non-profits, construction, professional services, and employee benefit plans. This is your chance to contribute to meaningful projects while gaining valuable experience in the world of auditing and accounting.
As a Staff Auditor, you will have the opportunity to:
- Plan and perform audits and procedural reviews using industry-standard audit tools and techniques.
- Prepare various tax returns, assist with accounting services to adjust client books, and conduct tax research, planning, and projections.
- Work with clients from diverse industries, enhancing your exposure and expertise.
- Collaborate closely with all levels of management and receive mentorship to help you grow and meet your career goals.
- Play a key role in the success of your team.
What were looking for in a qualified Staff Auditor:
- At least 1 year of recent CPA firm experience.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
- 150 credit hours completed or plans to meet CPA eligibility requirements.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized in a high-volume client environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
