The Dublin-based team will play a critical role in our continued digital transformation and will function as a centre of excellence for SiriusXM’s global Product and Technology organization. SiriusXM’s new Dublin facility will comprise a workforce primarily focused on software development, automotive technology and engineering, AdTech, data science, and analytics. Talent based in the new technology hub will be charged with developing and implementing best-in-class standards for high-quality, scalable software deliveries for SiriusXM’s streaming and in-vehicle audio entertainment platforms. What you’ll do: Focus on building a broad-scaled best-in-class observability platform across the organization while working on a world-class observability platform supporting this media company’s digital transformation. Approach application development from a reliability engineering perspective and work through iterative changes and improvements using industry CI/CD best practices. Contribute to the development of mature tooling for observability and support of end-to-end application performance health, productivity and effectiveness, specifically to the media tooling development for media monitoring applications. Work within industry leading observability tooling such as Datadog, Sentry.io, and Conviva to improve application and service availability as well as improve tools developed by own team. Manage application and system configurations across key components within our services environment and collaborate with topflight Service Engineering teams on enhanced understanding of metrics and insights. Work with dynamic teams to hone SLIs, SLAs, and SLOs of services and systems as part of a continuous improvement process and support Tier 2+/advanced troubleshooting and support for production services. Drive and support a culture of innovation, be an agent of change, and lead by example. Drive cross-organizational communication and collaboration that contributes to building a culture that rewards aggressive pursuit of innovative solutions to problems. Be responsive to the business in proposing and developing new products and services and identify opportunities to create new products and services that meet current and prospective market opportunities. What you’ll need: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Management, or similar field, or equivalent experience, in lieu of degree. Proven ability to foster and grow world-class operational support. Deep understanding of media curation and distribution. Fundamental understanding of the most current AWS concepts and technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Strong understanding of engineering software processes, lifecycle methodology, configuration management, release management, and system verification and testing.
