You will start your journey at SentinelOne in the brand new WebApp Validation Core team. As one of the team members, you will contribute to the overall objective of improving product teams' Developer Experience and product quality by building a test framework and tools with focus on shift-left principle, support for Accessibility and Localization testing and straightforward debugging capabilities. Additionally, we’ll together introduce centralized coverage monitoring for a unified overview of all mentioned test categories and ensuring stability and functionality of testing environments for seamless automation execution.What will you do? We will enhance Developer Experience and improve product quality with following initiatives: Unify the testing across SentinelOne by defining a new testing strategy based on requirements collected from product teams.Build a test framework, tooling and libraries with following capabilities Usability for all layers of the test pyramid (from Unit to E2E tests) to facilitate shift-left principle.Functional and non-functional (Accessibility, Translations) testing.Support for front-end testing using TypeScript and PlayWright and Kotlin for testing backend services.Straightforward debugging to enable fast troubleshooting of test failures. Introduce centralized place for automated coverage reporting (SonarQube, Test Case Management system etc.) to provide unified overview across all test types, test levels and components to help to remove duplicated tests and discover gaps.Design and develop stable test infrastructure in cooperation with DevOps. What skills or knowledge should you bring? Proven experience in architecting test automation solutions - building frameworks & test infrastructure. Experience with configuration of continuous integration (as a code) - any CI system, preferably Jenkins and GitHub Actions.Multiple (4+) years of experience with Containerization (Docker).Jenkins (Groovy), GitHub ActionsAWS, GCP.Container orchestration (Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform). Hands-on experience (at least 2 years) TypeScript / JavaScript for development and frontendtest automation using Cypress or PlayWright and backend test automation and development in Kotlin or Java.Excellent communication skills and self-management: being proactive, initiative and having a self-driven learning approach.Ability to take ownership with a highly goal oriented approach, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
