Staff Systems Engineer

- Demonstrate familiarity with system engineering V-model, requirements development, management and traceability, design, development, integration, validation, and verification
- Display full understanding of Tactical Means systems and architectures and understanding of technical systems, hardware and software and Defense Advance Research Project Agency initiatives
- Provide operations and Intelligence support of Research & Development effort for Intelligence into United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) organizations and United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) missions, and area of operations
- Develop objectives, schedules, risk assessments and architecture definition and compliance through the validations and guidance across various Project Management initiatives
- Present briefs to a wide range of audiences to include senior military and civilian leaders
- Identify core requirements mission areas and obtain access to developed capabilities
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, engineering science, physical science, or mathematical science discipline required
- Master’s Degree
- Associates degree may be considered with 4 additional years of work experience
- 6 additional years of work experience may be substituted for Educational Requirements
- Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)
Experience:
- 12+ years of professional experience in the required task area
- 7+ years of progressively complex experience in the design, development, integration, and testing of DOD or IC intelligence systems
- 8+ years of experience in a systems engineering position working on DOD programs / projects
- 2+ years of experience in a systems engineering management position leading a technical team working on DOD or IC programs / projects
- Experience with review process (SRR, PDR, CDR) required
Security:
- Must be a US
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
