This is a hands-on role responsible for providing leadership and expertise in leading the compliance agenda for the organisation.

As our client's Statutory Compliance and Safety Manager (Assets), you will work to ensure statutory duties, obligations, official standards, and best practice are met in respects of Gas Servicing, Legionella, Asbestos, Electrical and other key mechanical services.

On a regular basis you will conduct audits and inspections across the portfolio to ensure compliance with council policies and procedures, as well as legislation, and support the successful.

As a lead member of the team you will advise the senior management team on the implications of current and emerging health and safety legislation, including evaluating options, making recommendations, and generating action plans to ensure compliance across your area of responsibility. As part of the wider team, support with the gathering of information to develop the annual revenue and capital budgets both assets across the Estate.

To apply you will need to show a solid track record operating in this capacity within a Local Authority setting. You will be expected to have an excellent technical knowledge in relation to asset management work of this nature alongside excellent communication skills and the ability to provide focus on multiple work streams.

Our client is based in the North West of England and will offer this role on a contract basis, 3-6 months to start.

The day rate will be £550-£687 inside IR35.
