Steam Turbine Commisioning Engineer About the Role Location Tuerkiye Ankara Ankara Country/Region: TurkeyState/Province/County: IstanbulCity: IstanbulCountry/Region: TurkeyState/Province/County: IzmirCity: Izmir Company Siemens Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi Organization Transformation of Industry Business Unit Industrial Steam Turbines & Generators Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional For our Transformation of Industry Business Area for Siemens Energy in Ankara, we are looking for a Steam Turbine Commissioning Engineer to be responsible for performing the required service activities during outages of our Steam Turbine fleet equipment and reporting to the Business Unit Head.What are my responsibilities?Preparation, planning and execution for Commissioning & Start Up of Steam Turbine and its SystemsPerform commissioning of turbines during COLD and HOT commissioning phases, starting from single component to the full system (Turbine and auxiliaries) according to specifications, and engineering documents, including functional tests and logic interlocks verificationReview test results and prepare test reports to confirm compliance with technical specificationsEffectively identifies technical or schedule problems as they occur and takes appropriate actions to resolve including escalation of more complex issues to a higher level, providing expert advice and technical assistance to support staff and subordinate technicians of customersFacilitate the turnover of systems from erection to commissioning and from commissioning to customer in accordance with project requirements and work instructionPreparing as built documentation, quality records and commissioning reportsSupporting continuous improvement of process/product/system design, participating in internal review meetings, providing inputs on commissioning activities and other tasks and equipmentDevelop strong relationships and interface with our customers as well as counterparts in Turkey and regional headquartersPerforms day to day activities as part of a team or as stand-alone function and other duties as assignedComply with the Siemens Energy standard EHS process and quality standardsWhat do I need to qualify for this job?Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering 5 years of experience in field service environmentGeneral profound understanding of technical equipment and ability to work with/based on technical documentationExperience working with rotating equipment as gas turbines, steam turbines and generatorsGood general skills in mechanical, instrument, and control activities of power generation equipment or in the Oil & Gas industry and willingness to continuously work hands-on under time pressure and in difficult conditionsExperience working at Power Plant is preferredKnowledge of and working experience with rotating equipment especially steam turbines would be an assetStrong analytical skills with an affinity to technology and innovation in the service industry combined with a proactive and convincing attitudeKnowledge and experience of SPPA-T3000 Control System would be an assetExcellent communication skills, good command of written and spoken in EnglishWhat else do I need to know?Military service should have been completed for male candidatesHaving a valid driving licenseIn case of necessity to work on public holidays/weekendFlexible for travelling about 70% yearlyBased in Ankara is an asset, but not mandatory remote location is also possibleYou can reach the legal privacy information from the link.About Us Who is Siemens Energy?At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
