HPI Finishing Supply is a 34 year-old family-owned Industrial Coatings and Equipment distributor that is expanding into a new facility in Kansas City MO. We are looking for a Store Operations Manager that will be responsible for supporting our commercial operations and sales efforts. This position is based in our new Kansas City facility. Come work with a team where your efforts make a difference! Experience in a paint store or commercial coatings operation .

Daily responsibilities include:

• Assisting customers in-person and over the phone with order placement and transaction processing.
• Managing inventory.
• Tinting and matching stain and paint colors.
• Assisting customers in-person and over the phone with product application questions and troubleshooting.
• Repairing spray equipment.
• Maintaining a neat and orderly facility.
• Loading and unloading freight.
• Filling orders and stocking shelves.
• Demonstrating and promoting products.
• Other duties as assigned by the owner.

Basic qualifications include:

• You must be able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs.
• You must be able to distinguish the difference between colors.
• You must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• You must have strong math skills with ability to calculate discounts and percentages.
• You must have a strong attention to detail.
• You must have a positive team attitude.
• You must have a working knowledge of computers and phones.
• You must past a drug/toxins test and a background check.
• You must maintain a valid drivers license.

We offer product training and an experienced support team to help you succeed. We do not have evening or weekend hours. Compensation ranges $55,000 - $65,000 based on qualifications and experience.
