Job Summary

The Strategy, Planning & Integration Director (SPID) will lead the Strategy, Planning & Integration Group within the ASESC Program Management Office (PMO). Reporting directly to the Program Director (PD), the SPID will oversee master planning, resource allocation, and annual program planning, scheduling, and controls. This role requires a strategic leader who embodies KBR’s core values: We Value Our People, We Deliver, We are People of Integrity, and We Empower. The SPID will assemble and lead a team of managers, supervisors, and individual contributors to ensure superior strategic planning and integration services. This position involves preparing detailed reports for senior leadership and the NSF.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the Strategy, Planning & Integration Group within the ASESC PMO, ensuring alignment with KBR’s values and strategic objectives.

  • Collaborate with the NSF, program leadership, and other stakeholders to oversee master planning, resource allocation, and annual program planning.

  • Provide leadership and direction to managers, supervisors, and individual contributors within the Strategy, Planning & Integration Group.

  • Prepare and present detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to senior leadership and the NSF, summarizing strategic progress and planning efficacy.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, challenging existing paradigms to enhance program quality and efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with all NSF and KBR policies and procedures, particularly those related to strategic planning and resource management.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of innovative strategic planning and integration approaches.

  • Manage personnel deployment to Antarctica, ensuring all physical and dental examination requirements are met.

  • Support NSF OPP programs through effective strategic planning and integration practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a major business or engineering discipline from a four-year, accredited institution.

  • Minimum of ten years of senior experience in program leadership, project management, or facilities management.

  • At least ten years of management experience with an emphasis on strategy, advanced planning, and facilities and infrastructure operation and maintenance.

  • Experience supporting NSF OPP programs.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing remote sites, projects, or programs in austere environments.

Qualifications

  • Master of Science degree in a relevant field.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

  • Proven track record in developing and implementing innovative strategic and tactical project management, facilities, and operations approaches.
