What You’ll Do:
In this role, you’ll perform critical structural analysis and design for various building types, actively contributing to the project lifecycle. You’ll be responsible for:
- Compiling construction documents and conducting site investigations
- Designing with materials like aluminum, light gauge metal framing, concrete, steel, and wood
- Applying building codes and reference materials to ensure safe, high-quality designs
- Preparing professional reports and construction documents
- Creating sections, details, and specifications using Revit
- Producing and modifying structural sketches and estimating key elements
- Reviewing and coordinating construction documents and project details
- Attending project coordination meetings and assisting in site inspections
With autonomy to meet deadlines and manage tasks, you’ll also have opportunities to lead elements of project development while enhancing your technical skills.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 2-5 years of structural engineering experience, particularly in building design
Qualifications:
- EIT Certification is
- Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, CWC Woodwork, ENERCALC, Tekla, Tedds, RAM, and RISA 3D
- Knowledge of industry standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, Building Code)
