Job Summary:

We are seeking a full-time entry-level Structural Designer (EIT) to join our Rochester Office. This is a 100% in-office position, with hybrid possibility in future.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the structural design efforts by assisting in the production of construction details; design and detail individual components
  • Coordinate aspects of a project with Project Architect(s) and licensed engineers.
  • Perform various tasks during construction (e.g. review submittals and field visits).
  • Review shop drawings and submittals
  • As part of a team, perform field visits to observe construction progress.

Requirements:

  • Hold a 4 or 5-year undergraduate degree or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology, along with 1-3 years of related experience is .
  • Be familiar with Structural software to include RAM and Enercalc, Auto CAD, Revit and have proficient Excel skills.
  • Have ability to understand and manipulate inter-related information (e.g. recognizing that changing one drawing may change others.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills and organizational skills and work effectively with others.

Base Salary Information: $62,237 - $75,049

  • The above salary range represents a good faith range for incumbents of this position. Actual offers will be based on experience, education level, and demonstrated skills and will be at the discretion of the employer.
