I am actively seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join a busy, successful Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based in Nottinghamshire. You will assist in managing one of their busiest civil and structural teams where you will have the opportunity to be a part of their growing division, taking part in industrial/manufacturing facilities, where you will work from land acquisition stage, all the way through planning, tender and construction (detailed design) stages.



It is essential for the candidate to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:



A relevant first-class degree. E.g., MEng in Structural Engineering

Associate memberships (ICE or IStructE) or chartered membership or nearing Chartered status

Experienced designer with Tekla/TEDDS

Quantitative and qualitative experience in building structureDuties and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer include:



The candidate will be working within a mixed civil/structural engineering team. Preferably they will be competent in either field.

The role would be to support a current Principal Engineer within their team, by overseeing packages of design work, managing a technician and leading on smaller projects.

Experience of scheme and detailed designs

Conducting structural surveys of buildings and structures, by offering solutions for any potential issues
