We are looking for an entry level structural Engineer to join our Tampa location.

Responsibilities will include (with proper in-house training):

• Perform basic calculations to analyze and design individual building components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software.
• Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids.
• Work closely with CAD drafters to develop knowledge for the production of construction documents.
• Support the engineering team on structural projects.
• Identify cost-reduction techniques.
• Draft layouts that adhere to clients' specifications, business requirements, and budget limitations.
• Design buildings and other types of structures.
• Build 2D and 3D models using computer-aided design technology (e.g. AutoCAD and REVIT).
• Measure loads and presses to secure structural soundness.
• Collaborate with contractors and guide construction workers onsite.

Pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering is required. Must be personable, self-motivated, professional, and capable of representing our firm well to our clients. This is an position with potential to become full-time.
