Due to expansion, they now seek a skilled Structural Engineer with over 5 years of industry experience.\n\nAs a Structural Engineer, you'll excel in steelwork design, seamlessly integrating with our team and confidently engaging with clients. Proficiency in Tekla Fastrak Design Suite and AutoCAD is , alongside a solid background in structural steel design and relevant codes.\n\nPosition Overview:\n\n- Connection design FOR structural steelwork, ranging from 5 to 1000 tonnes, adhering to British Standards and Eurocodes\n- Utilize software and manual techniques for design, steel connections\n- Attend design meetings, prepare estimates, and refine tender designs\n- Collaborate with architects and contractors, offering insights on design implications and cost-effective solutions\n- Coordinate with internal and external drafting teams\n- Manage projects from tender to completion\n\nPosition Requirements:\n- Strong understanding of structural steelwork\n- Minimum 5 years' design experience in a relevant field\n- Proficient in supplementary hand calculations\n- Familiarity with Eurocodes and steelwork fabrication\n- Experience with Tekla Fastrak Design Suite\n- Chartered status in structural or civil engineering (IStructE/ICE)\n\nFor more information please get in touch with Sharon O'Donnell at The Highfield Company
