STRUCTURAL ENGINEER, P.E.

This position will review and modify structural construction documents using software like AutoCAD and Civil 3D. You will collaborate with Hillpointe management and the KSH engineering team to respond to information requests and expedite the approval of architectural plans.

You will assist in reviewing and approving materials, plan modifications, and ensuring compliance with design standards and codes. Your responsibilities include making structural calculations, assessing technical specifications, and collaborating on constructability issues.

Additionally, you will lead product and material research, maintain a technical resource library, and develop knowledge of land use permitting and building codes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering with a focus in structural analysis
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required, including the ability to become credentialed in multiple states.
  • Background and experience in multi-family or commercial mixed-use construction.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical abilities and judgment capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective under time-sensitive circumstances.
  • Solid leadership, project management, decision-making, and multitasking skills.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Some overnight travel may be required.
