Structural Engineering - Team Leader

Job Responsibilities Lead and manage the offshore structural engineering team, providing guidance and direction.Foster a collaborative and innovative work methods and design production tools.Collaborate with project managers to define project scopes, timelines, resource requirements and project quality issues. Provide technical leadership in the field of offshore structural engineering and organize technical training for team. Review and approve structural drawing designs, calculations, and analyses.Ensure that all structural engineering work complies with relevant design guides, standards, procedures, and regulations.Support manager in allocate resources effectively to meet project demands and plan for staff development.Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and prepare proposal. Prepare structural design basis, specifications, construction and installation work procedures and cost estimation. Manage workload distribution and balance team members' responsibilities.Prepare weight control, material take-off and bill of material reports. Prioritize and enforce HSE protocols in all engineering activities. Experience requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.7-10 years in Engineering Structures Design of Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or related industries on offshore platforms.Familiarity with International codes and standards – API, AISC, DNV.Proficiency in structural engineering software and tools – SACS, USFOS, NX Nastran & GRLWEAP. ABAQUS or ANSYS software experience is preferred.Strong leadership and project management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
