Structural Fabricator

Advanced Recruit are working with a steelwork , construction and powder coating company with many years’ experience in the industry.



Our client are recruiting for a skilled and experienced structural steel fabricator to start an immediate contract.



The company’s product range includes structural steel, such as stair cases, beams, and hand rails.



Responsibilities:



* Mig welding



* Reading drawings



* Making own jigs and fixtures where required.



* working as part of a team;



* lifting and carrying;



* Fitting of structural steel, staircases and balustrades;



* Drilling,



* Use of band saw



* Using measuring equipment



* Using Machinery around the shop floor.



* Ensuring safe practice to keep themselves and others safe.



Requirements:



* Mig welding Experience.



* Ability to use electric hand tools, e.g. electric screwdriver; Drill, Grinder



* Manual handling knowledge (some heavy lifting required);



* Full driving license;



* Good timekeeping;



* A full driving licence is essential;



* Good attention to detail and accuracy in all work with ability to produce quality work;



* Experience using a bandsaw and utility knife (to cut foam);



* Experience of site work



This will be on a temp to perm basis, based on the job spec shown above.



Standard working hours – Monday to Friday, 07.00 – 16.00
