Structural Inspector

Structural Inspector - Permanent - Motherwell



We are hiring a Structural Inspector to assess fabricated components for defects and quality issues. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with welding and fabrication experience, keen attention to detail, and knowledge of NDT techniques.



Responsibilities:



Inspect structural components using NDT methods (training provided if required).

Identify defects and decide on component acceptance/rejection.

Work with engineers to review test results and improve quality processes.

Use CMM equipment and precision measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, calipers, etc.).

Support ISO 9001 quality systems and SAP processes.Requirements:



Time-served welder or equivalent fabrication/welding qualification.

3+ years of fabrication experience in manufacturing (automotive, marine, oil & gas, or similar).

PCN Level 2 in NPI & UT (or willingness to complete training).

Strong ability to read engineering drawings and work with measurement tools.

Experience with quality control processes and SAP systems.Location: Motherwell
