Structural Inspector

Job Description

We are hiring a Structural Inspector to assess fabricated components for defects and quality issues. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with welding and fabrication experience, keen attention to detail, and knowledge of NDT techniques.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in using CMM
• 3+ years of fabrication in manufacturing
• PCN Level 2 in NPI & UT (training provided if not already held)
• Time-served/qualified welder (City & Guilds, HNC, Apprenticeship

Technical Skills:

• Competence in SAP / or similar CRM
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001).
• Use of measurement tools (micrometers, verniers, calipers, etc.).

Soft Skills & Work Approach:

• Attention to detail in defect analysis and reporting.
• Continuous improvement mindset to enhance internal processes.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills (for cross-functional collaboration).
• Ability to work independently and make decisions regarding acceptance/rejection of components.

• Day shift 35 hours
• £18.45ph
