Overview
The Production Assembler is responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies in accordance with established standards and processes/procedures.
Position currently located in Ruckersville, VA.
Pay is $18.25
Monday thru Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

Responsibilities
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, drawing specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
Verifies specifications by measuring completed component
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
Documents actions by completing production and quality forms
Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and material to Production Supervisor
Willingness to cross train on all areas of production floor
Qualifications
Ability to maintain quality, and safety standards
Good communication skills, including the ability to read and write
Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects
Ability to perform simple arithmetic
Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel
Education, Experience, Skills Required:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Candidate must have good organizational skills.
Working knowledge of basic tools
Works well with others.
