Overall responsibility forcomplete HV-Equipment Scope of HVDC projectOverall Technicalresponsibility for the preparation of equipment specifications, check of testplans and optimization of the equipment construction under consideration of thespecial requirements for HVDC and Grid Access plants.Mentoring/Trainingof team members on technical topics relatedto Component engineering and HVDC technology.Overall responsibility for preparationof technical and economic tender documents for high voltage equipment. Techno-Commercialsupport of the sales department and the project management for HV EquipmentOverall responsibility forthe Technical evaluation of the offers of subcontractors. Support the economicevaluation in the context of purchasing. Technical support during the searchfor the most suitable technical solution and qualified subcontractors Internal project supervision(timelines, costs, quality) Preparation and activeparticipation of technical decisions in arrangement with the project managerand technical project manager Regular sub project reports,regular meetings with regards to project progress, constant monitoring projectmilestones Identification andevaluation of project-oriented risks and opportunities. Working out suggestionsto minimize possible risks, recognizing benefits and opportunities.We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:Knowledge acquired in 6 - 10 years in High Voltage Engineering or similar.Bachelor’s or Master’s degreein Electrical Engineering or comparableTechnical Skills:Having technical overview Power System studies tools, requirementanalysis to support component team in completing the Systems departmentactivities in budget.Extensive experience with any of the following: HV measuringcomponents, HV transmission transformers, HV switchgear, HVReactors/Resistors/CapacitorsSolid Understanding of HVDC technologies, main circuit parameterscalculation, Insulation co-ordination, Transient stress, fault scenarios.Should be able to mentor junior members of the team.Solid Understanding of HVDC and/or FACTS technologiesDeep Knowledge about and Experience with Testing Techniques of HVcomponentsExtensive Experience in understanding and managing complexcustomer specificationsProgress of project work, Risk analysis for the Components team incollaboration with Basic design department and planning mitigations for them,Conducting Gate reviews.Deep Knowledge of applicable norms and standardsExtensive Experience in tendering or execution of large turnkeyprojects.Key Skills:Complete English fluency in business Communication withinternational stakeholdersExpert level Communication skills for clarifyingrequirements/solutions and resolving misunderstandings.Display qualities to become Technical Lead in the team for ongoingprojects.Pronounced proactive mindset and approach to serve colleagues,internal and external customers.Mindset of growth and service to support colleagues and alwaysthink win-win.Extraordinary Intercultural sensitivity and ability to work in amulti-national and multi-cultural team.Pronounced Time management and Prioritization SkillsDeep understanding the importance of techno-commercial design optimizationand the mutual influence of technical and commercial aspectsProactivity in digging deep into techno-commercial topics, also consideringsurrounding interface requirements.Pronounced Quality Focus
