NES Fircroft are recruiting for a Subcontract Lead Engineer for our major EPC client.

Rate: € negotiable depending on experience
Key responsibilities:
Main duties:
The Subcontractor will perform Placement and Administration of all Subcontracts for the project, based in Paris office.
The Subcontractor assumes the following responsibilities:
- Managing awarded Construction & EPC Subcontracts,
- Preparing the amendments to the Subcontracts,
- Receive and replies to all Subcontractor's letters,
- Prepare and update the Monthly Financial Status Report of each Subcontract,
- Make sure that the contractual provisions included in Subcontracts are complied with by the construction site team,
- Prepare and send out Calls For Bid, negotiate, prepare and award local Subcontracts and he ensures the application of Compliance requirements,
- Follow-up, manage Variation requests issued by Subcontractors and evaluate their contractual and financial entitlement according to the procedure set up in the construction guide document,
- Follow-up, manage Variation requests initiated by the client,
- Formalize settlement of disputes or disagreement to ensure the clients contractual protection until work completion,
- Ensure collection and consolidation of the information required for completion and for closure of subcontracts without disputes after work completion.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience: 8-20 years’ experience in a similar role particularly within the EPC industry.
• Field of expertise in Subcontracts Management for Construction (Offshore O&G experience preferred)
• Knowledge of the software: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Administration / Management Software (e.g. Jeevan)
• French and English speaking/reading/writing
• Must be open to travel to the site of the project
