Nes Fircroft are looking for an experienced Subsea Project Control Lead for a major oil and gas client on a major project.
The Subsea Project Control Lead (SURF or SPS package) oversees all the contracts, planning and reporting, budget and cost control, documentation control, Risk Management, HR, Administration, Services and logistics for the Project as defined by the Package manager.

Main duties:
As the Project Control Lead Subsea package (SPS or SURF), the services holder shall:
• Be accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE rules & requirements and for implementing H3SE requirements within the scope of his/her services.
• Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour with regards to the Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy.
• Take under consideration knowledge of international standard and norms, Company Rules, Guide & Manuals (CRs/GMs), Project Procedures, etc. related to Project Controls and their application to the Project.
• Coordinate and support the Project Control team of the SPS package
• Implement, check the implementation and respect of procedures associated to the Project Controls activities, including respect of confidentiality, ethics and compliance.
• In charge of Subsea package Risk management, ensure Risk register is up to date by coordinating with discipline & area leaders.
• Lead for the Subsea package the contracting process for all the contracts to be placed, then contractually and commercially the awarded Contracts, and liaise actively with relevant specialists for the technical management part.
• Lead the preparation and update of the Subsea package budget, the control of the costs and make suggestions for costs reduction
• Coordinate the Subsea package schedules including the data needed for the Project integrated schedule, monitor the progress of the activities
• In full coordination with Subsea Package Manager, lead specific transverse activities & dedicated missions (Task Force) as relevant.
• Prepare and disseminate the Subsea package reporting by monitoring the content and quality of the information issued both internally and externally
• Develop and implement a structure to facilitate Subsea package files capitalization, set up the Subsea package Electronic Document Management System (EDMS)
• Coordinate the Subsea package HR activities and monitor the mobilization plan as per plan.
• Coordinate the Subsea package logistics (offices, etc.)
• Contribute to the preparation of the Subsea package Implementation Plan and the local development plan
• Consolidate the elements of the Long-Term Plan (LTP) within the scope of the Subsea package
• Report to the Subsea package manager highlighting any area of concern regarding Project Control matters, ensure rigorous follow up & management of Change Orders requests, Potential change orders, claims and counterclaim dossier.
• Perform and/or supervise the close-out of the Subsea Project Control activities respecting Affiliate and Project procedures
• Liaise actively with all Package and Line Managers and, in a general manner, with all the Project Control team members, for the performance of the above duties. Liaise with Project Control Manager as required.
• Gather ‘lessons learnt’ and provide feedback to other TotalEnergies entities as required, actively contribute to Close Out Report
Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualification: High experience in Oil & Gas contracts writing, negotiating and managing
- Languages: English and French
- Professional Experience: At least 15 years
- Experience within project: At least 10 years
- Excel: Skilful
