Are you a Substation Physical Project Engineer with 4 to 10 years of experience designing HV/MV substation and/or switchyard systems and equipment? If so, Mesa has a dynamic opportunity for you!
Candidate must possess a working knowledge in most of the following: development of electrical general arrangement and/or station layout drawings, Yard Equipment Details & Elevations, Grounding Plans & Details, Conduit/Cable/Raceway Plans & Details, Bills of Material, Station Service and Battery Systems, Lighting Plans & Details, Electrical Bus Span calculations, Phase-Phase and Phase-Ground Electrical Clearances, Lightning/Static Protection/Grounding Studies, etc. Ideal candidate will have extensive experience utilizing AutoCAD and/or MicroStation software and must also be able to use Microsoft Design Suite products (Excel, Word, etc.). CDEGS and/or WinIGS experience is a plus. /Power Plant Physical design experience may be substituted for the requisite substation design experience. Possession of proven leadership skills involving supervision of a design team or teams is a plus. The ideal candidate must also demonstrate excellent communication skills with other coworkers and be able to thrive in a team-oriented work environment.
