Summer 2025 | Electrical Engineering Co-op - Water Infrastructures

Job Description The Electrical Intern will have the opportunity to actively help the Electrical Infrastructure team with projects related to transit, commercial, industrial, municipal infrastructure, including water and wastewater treatment facilities. You will have the opportunity to learn and participate to the design of these projects. If you're looking to get experience and exposure in the consulting industry, come join us and learn what engineering is all about!    Primary responsibilities  Assist the Electrical Infrastructure team with their duties and tasks   Review drawings for quality control  Shop drawing reviews  Writing technical reports  Attend regular team meetings and project specific meetings.   Participate in training courses as requested  Review drawings for quality control  Store and manage project documentation in accordance with CIMA’s Project Management Standards  Site visits with Senior Engineers for equipment investigation, testing, commissioning  Consulting with vendors and manufacturers    Qualifications Co-op student currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree (B.Eng.) or equivalent  Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment  Proficient in Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word and PowerPoint  Attention to detail and analytical skills  Good communication and writing skills  A valid Ontario driver’s license  Access to a vehicle    The salary for this position ranges from $23.75 to $29.40 per hour, depending on your academic profile, the number of credits earned, and your previous co-op or internship experience.
