Join the RITALKA Engineering team as an Engineer Summer ! In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with the engineering team to support research, development, quality control, and design. This hands-on role will provide exposure to real-world engineering challenges and opportunities to contribute to meaningful solutions while gaining practical experience.
What will you do as an Engineer ?
- Utilize systems engineering process to support the following: clean sheet design/concept development, specification development, design iteration approach, drawing and schematic development, and testing
- Systems design and engineering calculations for the following systems: powertrain, hydraulics, pneumatics, electric drive, controls/software, HMI design, structural design, vehicle performance testing
- Assist in performing engineering calculations to verify compliance with design and performance requirements
- Support materials evaluation and selection for design applications
- Conduct analysis to assess structural integrity and functionality of designs
- Assist in creating, reviewing, and updating CAD models and detailed drawings
- Support project management activities, including timeline updates and contract tracking
- Help develop and present technical data, reports, and review documents for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design and manufacturability challenges.
- Participate in troubleshooting and updating documentation for ongoing projects
- Assist with verifying project completion against performance, budget, and timeline objectives
What is RITALKA looking for in a quality candidate?
- Strong mechanical or technical aptitude with an interest in engineering and design
- Familiarity with engineering software tools such as CAD and analysis programs
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external teams
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2+ years of college or university coursework completed with a major in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or a related Engineering program
OR Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be acceptable.
